Cal Shakes Singles Night with WineSocials.com

Cal Shakes is partnering with WineSocials.com to offer a unique wine tasting and theater event for Bay Area singles. 

Located in the glorious Siesta Valley in the East Bay hills near Orinda, Cal Shakes' Bruns Amphitheater offers a casual, relaxed venue in which to enjoy world-class theater and fine wine.

WineSocials.com will present their tasting from 6-8pm in the upper picnic grove at the Bruns. Immediately following the wine tasting, Cal Shakes will present Shakespeare's wild fairy tale, Pericles, directed by acclaimed Minneapolis-based director Joel Sass in his West Coast debut. Somewhere between the craggy shores of tragedy and the loopy swells of comedy lies Pericles, the tale of a prince, his wife, and their daughter, all separated by the whims of fate (and the hands of evildoers).

Please note: The wine tasting and play are ticketed separately. You may purchase special discounted tickets to Pericles on this site; no box office or phone sales. All tickets will be held at will call, with valid ID required to pick them up. Full price tickets ($45 regular/$20 age 30 and under) will be available at the door, subject to availability.

Tickets to the wine tasting are $20 in advance and $30 at the door, and are not included in the Pericles ticket price. To purchase wine tasting tickets, go to WineSocials.com and clink on the link for the Cal Shakes event.

There is plenty of free parking onsite or take the free shuttle to and from the Orinda BART station (note: shuttle service returning to BART is not available until after the performance.)  This is an outdoor event, so comfortable, casual clothing (think jeans and fleeces) are customary.
